2022 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Trims & Configurations
With the new 2022 E-Class, there are four primary trim
levels, two AMG trims, and thirteen total configurations. As a part of those
configurations, you have four body styles to choose from with the new E-Class.
You can get a two-door coupe, a four-door sedan, a two-door convertible, or the
four-door, seven-passenger wagon model. However, each body style doesn't come
available with every configuration. If variety is your thing, the E-Class sedan
has a more extensive selection. Here's a look at each model, along with their

2022 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe

You can't get the 2022 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe in the
E 350 trim level, but it is available with the E 450 trim with or without
4MATIC AWD. Additionally, the 2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe features 10 cubic
feet of cargo space. The 2022 MB E-Class Coupe also leaves room for four occupants
to fit comfortably.

2022 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet Convertible

Just as with the E-Class Coupe, you can only get the 2022
E-Class Cabriolet on the top E 450 trim levels. There is room to fit four
people, and cargo space measures 9.5 cubic feet.
2022 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Wagon

If you are looking for more space, you might prefer the
new E-Class Wagon model. It features room to hold seven occupants and offers 35
cubic feet of cargo room behind the rear seats, with 64 cubic feet when they
are folded down.

Depending on the model you choose, there is room in the
2022 Mercedes-Benz E-Class interior to hold between four and seven people.
Every model comes standard with the 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system,
voice controls, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay.

2022 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Engines & Specifications
The 2022 Mercedes-Benz E-Class offers two engine options,
both paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. There is a 255-horsepower
turbo-four engine and a 362-horsepower turbo-six paired with a 48-volt EQ Boost
hybrid system, acting as an electric supercharger. Both of these offer the
choice between rear-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive. At this point, we don't
have EPA fuel economy estimates yet.

Depending on which model you choose, the 2022
Mercedes-Benz E-Class dimensions fall between 190-197″ L x 73-75″ W x 56-59″ H.
It also comes complete with 18-, 19- or 20-inch wheels. Choose from 9 exterior
color options, including Black, Selenite Gray Metallic, Cirrus Silver Metallic,
Polar White, Graphite Gray Metallic, Diamond White, Mohave Silver Metallic,
Nautical Blue Metallic and Cardinal Red.

Are there 2022 Mercedes-AMG E-Class models?

You can choose the high-performance AMG-tuned E 53 and E
63 S. The E 53 is available as a 2022 Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan, coupe, or
cabriolet and is equipped with a 429-horsepower turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder.
You can also opt for the Mercedes-Benz E 63 S as a sedan or wagon. The AMG E 63
S sedan is equipped with a 603-horsepower twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8.
Is there a 2022 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Hybrid Variant?
Eventually, there will be a plug-in-hybrid E-Class
denoted by the trim level 2022 Mercedes-Benz E 350e. The E-Class Hybrid might release at a later date than the
rest of the models. It only comes as a rear-wheel-drive variant for now. It
also contains a four-cylinder gas engine that pairs with an electric motor to
produce 315 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque.
2022 vs. 2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Changes: Is 2021 a Redesign Year?
The 2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class was recently updated, so
there will be no major changes with the 2022 lineup. However, we could see some
big changes coming in the next few years.Â
